Welcome to the reality of personal growth—where setting boundaries is a huge, courageous step, but keeping them in place? That’s where the real work begins.
You’ve done the deep work of recognizing your needs, and now the world is testing you. It’s not a setback; it’s part of the process.
Boundaries aren’t about shutting people out—they’re about protecting your energy, your well-being, and your inner peace. One way to stay strong in your resolve is by nurturing your solar plexus chakra, your center of confidence and willpower. When this energy center is thriving, you feel empowered, self-assured, and capable of standing firm in your truth. Scroll to the end of this blog for a powerful guided meditation to help align your solar plexus.
Why Boundaries Matter for Your Well-Being
Let’s be honest—setting boundaries can feel awkward, even unnatural, especially if you’re used to putting others first. But boundaries are a radical act of self-love. They give you room to breathe, to exist as your full, authentic self without compromise.
Some common roadblocks when trying to uphold boundaries:
Feeling guilty for putting yourself first
Worrying about how others will react
Slipping back into old patterns under pressure
Real-life example: Alyssa, one of my clients, knew she needed boundaries, especially with family, and she worked hard to define them. At first, she felt strong—confident in her ability to say no. But over time, her resolve weakened, and she found herself falling back into old habits. Through our work together, she recognized these cycles and used solar plexus meditations and affirmations to reinforce her strength. Eventually, she built the resilience to uphold her boundaries without guilt or hesitation.
Three Ways to Reaffirm Your Boundaries When They’re Challenged
Pause & Check In
The moment someone pushes against your boundary, stop. Take a deep breath. Before reacting, ask yourself: Does this align with my energy and values? If the answer is no, remind yourself: I honor my needs and trust my inner wisdom.
Maria, another client, struggled with this. A family member would constantly ask for favors, and she felt obligated to say yes. Once she started practicing the pause, she was able to confidently respond with a firm but loving boundary.
Reignite Your Inner Fire
The solar plexus chakra is associated with fire—your spark, your inner power. When it starts to dim, reignite it with:
Movement: yoga, dance, or core-strengthening exercises
Sunlight: let the warmth recharge you
Breathwork: inhale deeply, visualizing golden light filling your core
A classmate in my healing school shared that visualizing a golden flame at her center helped her stand strong in the face of an overbearing colleague. A simple shift in energy changed everything.
Try Visualization or Guided Meditation
When you feel your boundaries slipping, reconnect by visualizing your solar plexus chakra as strong, healthy, and vibrant. See it glowing and radiating a golden yellow sunlight and let it fill your energy field.
To help you focus your intention on recharging your third chakra I’ve created the guided meditation. Hit play whenever you need a boost.
Embracing Your Power
Boundaries aren’t walls—they’re invitations to deeper, healthier connections. When you honor your limits, you’re teaching others how to respect your energy, too.
If you’re ready to strengthen your confidence and personal power, consider an energy healing session or intuitive coaching. You deserve to stand fully in your truth—unapologetically.
